Check an influencer: engagement rate calculator

Engagement rate is (average likes + comments per post) ÷ followers × 100. The calculator reads the result against Kreators’ indicative markers (for a micro-influencer, 3% is good and 6% excellent): they are not official norms, and published studies give very different averages. Bigger accounts engage less, and a rate above 25% means the followers deserve a closer look.

Questions? Answered

What is a good engagement rate on Instagram?

There is no official norm. Our indicative markers fall with account size: about 4% under 10,000 followers, 3% between 10,000 and 50,000, 2% up to 250,000 and 1% above a million. Compare above all with accounts of the same size and niche.

How do I spot fake followers?

A very low rate (under 1% for a small account), generic comments, or an unusually high rate with likes from empty accounts are warning signs.

Is it the same on TikTok?

Yes, using likes and comments per video. On TikTok views matter too: compare them with the follower count.

Is there an average engagement rate for Morocco?

No reliable public source publishes a Moroccan average. The benchmarks above apply to accounts of the same size; with a Moroccan creator, also ask what share of their audience is in Morocco and in your city.
