How to find paid collaborations in Morocco: where to look, what to write
To land paid collaborations in Morocco, be visible where clients look: a directory such as Kreators with your packages in MAD, Instagram and TikTok search, agencies and the businesses in your city. Send a short, personal message with a price taken from the October 2026 market ranges, then follow up once, three to five days later.

Where do clients look for creators in Morocco?
| Channel | What the client does | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Kreators directory | Filters by city, niche, platform and budget, then contacts you after a free sign-up | A complete profile with your packages and prices in MAD |
| Instagram and TikTok search | Types a keyword, a hashtag or a place | Your city and niche in your bio, tagged locations, local hashtags |
| Agencies | Look for profiles for a client's campaign | An up-to-date media kit and a quick reply |
| Businesses in your city | Notice the creators who talk about their neighbourhood | A direct message or a visit in person |
On Kreators, the client writes to you directly, on WhatsApp, by phone, by email or through messages, and pays you directly, with no commission. Kreators does not pitch clients for you: your profile, visible in the directory, does the work. See the creators page.
How do I make my profile easy to find?
- A bio that says what and where: “Food and cafés in Rabat · Collabs on WhatsApp”.
- Three pinned posts that show what you can do for a client.
- Your packages and prices on show: the client knows at once whether the budget fits.
- A link in bio that leads to your packages and your WhatsApp: see the link-in-bio guide.
Also keep a media kit ready to send when a client or an agency asks for one.
What should my first message say?
A good first message fits in five lines: who you are, why this business, what you offer, the price and a simple question to close. Here are three examples to adapt; send them in French or Darija depending on the business.
Example for a café, in English: “Hello, I'm [first name], I make food videos in Rabat on Instagram (12,000 followers, mostly in Rabat and Salé). I came by and loved your brunch. I'd like to offer a 30-second Reel and 3 stories, shot on a Saturday lunchtime, for 4,200 MAD. I can send you two videos I made for other cafés. Would you be interested?”
The same message in Darija: «السلام عليكم، أنا [الاسم]، كنصور فيديوهات ديال الماكلة فالرباط على إنستغرام (12 ألف متابع، أغلبهم من الرباط وسلا).
Example for a beauty salon: “Hello, I'm [first name], I make beauty content in Casablanca (6,000 followers, mostly in Morocco). I'd love to film a blow-dry or a treatment at your salon, before and after, as one Reel and 2 stories, with your address and WhatsApp in the story. My price for this package is 1,800 MAD. Could we talk this week?”
Example for an online shop: “Hello, I saw your serums on your website. I'm a UGC creator: I film vertical videos in Darija for Instagram and TikTok ads, without posting them on my own account. I'd suggest 3 videos of 20 to 30 seconds, each with two different hooks, for 2,400 MAD for the three. The length of ad usage is to be set in the quote. My portfolio: kreators.ma/[your-name].”
How do I follow up without being pushy?
- Wait three to five days without a reply.
- Follow up once only, with something new: a video idea, a date, an example of your work.
- Still nothing a week later? Move on to the next business and come back in two or three months, for example before Ramadan or the sales.
- Log every contact in a simple table: date, business, package offered, reply.
Example follow-up: “Hello, I'm getting back to you about the brunch Reel. I can shoot it this Saturday or the next. Here is a video I made for another café: kreators.ma/[your-name]. Have a good day!”
What price should I quote?
Quote a price, even a rough one: a client who has to guess your rate often puts off replying. Start from the October 2026 market ranges for your follower tier.
| Format (Instagram) | Under 10,000 followers | 10,000 to 50,000 followers |
|---|---|---|
| Post | 200 to 1,500 MAD | 1,500 to 5,000 MAD |
| Story | 100 to 600 MAD | 600 to 2,000 MAD |
| Reel | 300 to 2,400 MAD | 2,400 to 8,000 MAD |
| UGC video, not posted | 150 to 1,200 MAD | 1,200 to 4,000 MAD |
On TikTok, count about 0.9 times the Instagram price, on YouTube about 1.8 times, on Snapchat and Facebook about 0.6 times. For a price that fits your account, use the rate calculator and measure your engagement with the engagement rate calculator.
Example: with 12,000 followers, a Reel and three stories at the bottom of the micro range come to 2,400 + 3 × 600 = 4,200 MAD. That is the price in the café message above.
Product swap or paid collaboration: when should I accept?
| Accept the swap if… | Ask to be paid if… |
|---|---|
| You would have bought the product anyway | You are asked for several pieces (Reel and stories) |
| Its value covers the work asked | The client wants to reuse the video in ads |
| There is no obligation to post, or just one story | There is a fixed date, a script or exclusivity |
| You are starting out and need examples for your portfolio | The product is worth less than your rate for that format |
A free product is still something of value: Instagram and TikTok ask you to label the post as a partnership even without money. For the tax side of products you receive, see the influencer tax guide.
Which red flags should worry me?
- “It will be great exposure”: work with no payment and no product, for a mere mention.
- No brief: no specific product, no date, no number of pieces. Revisions never end.
- No deposit on a large order, or payment promised “after the results”.
- You are asked to pay first, a fee or a product to buy, to get the collaboration.
- You are asked for your account login instead of a simple screenshot of your insights.
- Ad usage with no time limit or scope, for the price of a single post.
